Olsen Hair.

I love love love the Olsen twins' boho, perfectly messy hair. I have naturally wavy/curly hair when it's left to dry, but when does anybody ever let their hair dry naturally in winter? Uh. never. WAY too cold and time consuming. haha.

This is the closest I can get, without bleaching obviously...Still think theirs is better... :)

Anybody ever managed to achieve anything like the Olsens? And if you have, how and which products did you use?

  2. When i wash it and leave it, it usually goes like that. But i did put 'Garnier Fructis Surf Hair' spray in it, and a tiny bit of 'Tresemme Freeze Hold Hair Spray' too, then just scrunched it a bit and left it to dry. :)

  3. Although i did do this in summer, don't quite know how i'd do it in winter..I've heard that tying it up in rags and twisting random sections then blowdrying it works okay, but makes it a littl frizzy x

  6. I havent ever tried loose plaits actually, occasionally i'll put random plaits in my hair but they've always been quite tight, wasn't quite the look i was going for haha. I'll try that, thankyouu :)

  7. I dunno - I think your hair looks pretty damn Olsen-like there, it's great! I wonder if I should try some of the products you used - my hair is wavy..but not curly, but letting it dry naturally ends up with a little too much frizz for my liking and not enough definition.

  10. Your eyes are beautiful! I tried to comment on your LUSH entry but for some reason blogger wouldn't let me so I'm commenting here instead:

I definitely have a LUSH obsession! I went on a 6 month strike because some of the products gave me dandruff and broke me out, but I just did a LUSH review on my blog and it got me thinking about LUSH again and I accidently spent close to $200.00 (from money that I need to save)! I'm trying out some new products that hopefully won't dry me out/break me out this time.

  13. I would probaly recommend the sea salt spray thingy. My hair is naturally really straight so I can never get it to look that way!

  16. I use a conical wand on a few strands of hair, alternate between holding the hair on the wand for 10 seconds, and 3 seconds. The conical wand gives a more wavy effect rather than a curl like on a tong. Before putting heat on the hair I use a salt spray and heat control spray.

    Hope that helps :)
