GIRLS.

It’s International Women’s Day, which presents the perfect opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the women who have a positive impact on my life and inspire me each and every day. In a generation where more and more women are absolutely bossing it and choosing not to follow society’s rules, break out of the mould and make career and life choices for themselves and nobody else, there can be a fair amount of girl-on-girl crime. It’s days like today that should remind us all that we shouldn’t have to compete, judge or tear down those among us and instead we should uplift, empower, encourage and support our fellow females, which is exactly what I’m here to do today. There are so many ladies who have given me little nuggets of life wisdom which have all contributed to the woman that I am today.

My Mum – She always encouraged me to explore my creativity and never put limitations on what I could or couldn’t do. She taught me how to self-motivate & be grateful for the smaller things in life.

My Friends – I have a girl gang that is seriously enviable. My friends are some of the most inspiring people to be around. All with different passions, life mottos and brimming with the best advice you could ever ask for. Every time I hang out with any of them, I leave feeling a little more inspired.

Alfie’s Mum – I’ve known Amanda for almost 5 years and consider her an extension to my family. She is one of the most open minded and open hearted ladies I know and although I would consider myself to be both of those things, since meeting her I have become a lot more compassionate and patient.

My Manager – Maddie is someone I have worked very intensely with for many years now and I have watched her grow into a seriously confident, savvy, courageous and determined business woman. This isn’t something I think I’ve ever mentioned to her as she is always the one encouraging, supporting and praising me but she gives me the drive to improve myself in terms of building a stronger more resilient side of my personality that I often struggle with. When I see how she gets things done and takes control of difficult situations with absolute ease, I soak it in like a sponge!

Emma Gannon – Although Emma would sit firmly in my “friends” category, I wanted her to have her own little section because even before we were friends, this girl inspired me beyond belief. During a time I felt very isolated and a little like I was pushing against the tide in terms of my channel becoming successful and a lot of people turning on me and social media in general, Emma spoke up. She didn’t care if she got bashed, or if her opinion went unheard. She taught me that speaking your mind could be a very powerful tool. Not just for the rest of the world, but for me. She speaks about things without malice and in an extremely dignified and insightful way, which I find so inspiring & really refreshing!

Fearne Cotton – I’ve met Fearne a number of times and she will always be one of my inspirations and “women career goals”. She is one of the most down to earth celebrities I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her work ethic and ability to have time for everyone was a very important tool that I’ve always carried with me and will never forget.

Davina Mccall – Similarly to Fearne, Davina is someone I have always admired for her ability to make you feel equal and accepted. Although I haven’t personally met her, Alfie has been lucky enough to, and the time that she gives to anyone who may need it is always above and beyond. She has been in the industry for a long time, and there is a reason for that! I know that if I ever had a question or a problem, she would give up some of her time to help me and that is something that is very admirable and that I am always very aware of in my own career path.

Adele – Simply for being so down to earth in a world where sometimes her feet probably don’t touch the ground. She has stayed so true to herself regardless of what she has achieved.

My Viewers/Readers – I learn an awful lot from those who read, watch and comment on my social channels. You are all some of the bravest, strongest and most determined people I’ve ever come across. Every individual story or piece of advice you offer me has such an impact. It’s such a special thing that whilst you are learning about me and my life, I can also learn a lot from you too just by reading your comments and tweets. Some of my favourite life mottos or quotes have come from twitter mentions!

I hope this has encouraged you to think about the ladies in your life that have an impact on you and if it has, let them know!

Well i already told the world and my mum this morning that she is the woman that inspires me the most and made me the woman i am today, but to many women out there you are an inspiration too and rightly so, you share so much of your life and make us all feel like we are apart of your world, being inclusive is an admirable quality. You arent afraid to talk about hot button topics, and have shared problems you have experienced, which in turn i know has helped others. You are on truly amazing woman but then aren’t we all amazing women. Big love to all the girls and women. We truly do run the world.

  • Beth xx [PB]

This is so inspiring to girls everywhere. A very inspirational post <3xxxxxxxx

  • Brie

You are such an inspiration! I’m only 15 but I don’t believe in violence and that communication is a great way to solve problems. I’m so careful about what I say–things like calling people pussys (as an example) I never do bc it’s calling someone a girl–in the intention that they are weak-which is not ok (sorry if I offend you lol that was just an example idk if you ever say that) anyway I’m very careful about things like that cause you never know who you are affecting and how you’re affecting those people. I love you-you’re such an inspiration ♥️

A very well written and thoughtful blog post. It is refreshing to read women praising other women for the skills they have rather than how they look. Thank you for creating that kind of atmosphere on your Blog and Vlogs Xx

I feel like women don’t get as much appreciation as men do in this world. That’s why I love International Women’s Day, because it gives appreciation to all women! Even though women still don’t have equality in the world yet, that doesn’t stop us from doing what we want to do. Your blog and vlogs are true inspiration. I look up to you and many other women as well, including my own mom ☺️. Zoe, you show me to be myself and not care what others think, and I appreciate you for teaching that to me. Thank you!!! 💖❤️💜💙💚💛💟💝💗

I know you probably won’t see this. But I need your help. Or well, words of motivation if you will. I can’t function outside of my house. I need to go out. Have a job. Have a LIFE but I can’t bring myself to because of all these handicaps. My depression is actually immobilizing me as well as my anxiety. I’ve cried before and told people that I’m not cut out for this life and it’s true. I can’t go about and function like a normal human being. I can’t go out and just go into the queue and order food I have an anxiety attack. I can’t go and food shop by myself because I have an anxiety attack. I can’t drive myself around because of my anxiety. My depression is just as bad as my anxiety if I’m being honest. My depression could easily land me in bed for days on end. I know it’s landed me in the house for weeks on end. I couldn’t even step out my front door to walk down the street to my mamaws without having a panic attack and turning back. With anxiety and depression and all these obstacles I face I get so angry at myself because I’m letting it control me. I’m letting it make my decisions for me. But honestly the thoughts of making my own decisions terrifies me. I just hoped maybe you’d see this and give me some words of advice. You don’t have to I don’t know really why I wrote this. Goodbye. 👋🏻

    • GRACE

girl, you’re not the only one. same exact thing happened to me – i decided i needed a purpose, and i got a dog. check out emotional support animals. taking care of a puppy, training it and it forced me to go outside. plus puppy love is good for everyone. i’m not a doctor but that’s what worked for me. I still struggle a lot, but having something that depends on me and putting something before myself helps me change my focus. of course make sure you could afford it and have proper house/yard etc.

also order all my food/supplies online from amazon and grocery shops saves me from going to the store if you need help there.

  • This is such a neat and inspiring post! I love the way you talked about all the important women in your life who inspire you. You would definitely be on my list of strong women I look up too!

me and my few friends talked about a similar thing very much like this today at school during lunch, one of my friends asked us ‘who influences you on a daily bases?’
And I thought for a bit, we all did. We each took it in turns and as my turn came up I answered with,
My late auntie Julie- She taught me at a young age that you don’t need to impress anyone, only your self, she was happy, I never saw her frown, she smiled and laughed at any opportunity given. If she thought something was wrong she would speak up and turn it right.

My old primary teacher- although it was many years ago and I haven’t seen her in the many years I will and never could forget what she said to me, “you can do it so never let anyone say otherwise, you’ve made it this far, just keep focused on the right path and you’ll end up where your supposed be”.

    Finally I said, Zoë Sugg-
because she was once just like us, an insecure teen. But now look at her! She doesn’t use the influence she has to promote things she doesn’t believe in, promote negativeness, no. She uses it to help young girls or boys, well any age for that matter, to just say yes, what’s the worst that could happen? Just from these few words that I constantly say to myself on a daily bases I’ve been and done things I could never of imagined doing a few years back. I talked to new people, stood up for people and myself, heavens I went on my first date (we won’t go into details on that but let’s just say I’m still single but not that it matters anyway), I went to my first concert, I went out with my friends more, I made the first move, Ive become someone I’m happy to call myself and not feel ashamed, not even about my looks, my weight, my voice or even my ridiculous habits.
But the thing I’m most proud of myself for doing was reading out my own hand written speech about objectifying women and homophobicness in front of my whole school (2000 people)

Zoe you’ll probably never see this, but I wanted to tell YOU how much you helped ME. As a fellow 1990 baby I’m sure I’m at the older range for your viewers (but who knows). I have struggled with anxiety for years and never even knew what it was until I watched your videos. My parents are very old school and conservative and they (still) don’t believe anxiety is a real thing. I was just made to feel like I wasn’t trying hard enough (yep, here come the tears) and never had anyone to support me. You tackling YOUR anxiety has helped inspire me to tackle mine and no matter what the stupid news says, you are making a positive difference in MANY people’s lives.

    Dear Zoe,
For a school assignment I have to read Girl Online: Going Solo (I must admit it was the book I wanted to read). While reading I thought I would go look at your actual blog instead of reading the blog in the book. 14 chapters in and I am in love with it and thought about possibly making my own blog. Though it’s probably a good idea to read more of your blog and read more into the book to see what Penny’s blog posts are like.

I loved this blog post (along with many others!) because it was so inspiring. To actually think about which girls and women inspire you and help you the most. Now, I know this might seem like I’m only saying this because it’s your blog but what I am about to say is true. You are what inspires me the most. You and Alfie, with your funniness with Mark and friends and Alfie’s Monday morning inspirational quotes. A few years ago on my birthday, my friends let me down. I had one amazing friend who stuck by me when i was sitting in the corner of the playground crying. My friends had argued about a silly thing and it was my birthday. It made me so upset. So when I got home, I watched Alfie’s daily vlog and your main channel videos. I felt so uplifted and happy after that. Because in every video, you are both so happy and inspiring. You inspired me to forgive my friends. Thank you!

Personally I think for anyone who has ever read your blog you would definitely be on their list myself included. Xxx

It’s so sweet that you mention us, your readers and viewers. I think that’s so amazing and inspiring about you. You are so grateful and kind. You’re a big inspiration to so many people, including me, because i feel like you always stay so true to yourself and share the good and the bad things so others can find help and inspiration in your words. If I made a list of women who empower me I would add you (and I really don’t want to sound like I want credit for that or something, but I truly mean it).

I also feel incredibly blessed with all the women who encourage me and inspire me every day. My friends, my mother, grandmother.

  • Such a lovely post, Zoe. It’s so nice seeing someone directly address the ladies in their life that help them/have helped them. Growing up I found myself around so many amazing girls – some even helped me in realising who I am, one including Lady Gaga. She opened my eyes to literally a whole other word, and even when I watched YouTube growing up, it really really helped. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank all those people for that so on the off chance that you see this comment, thank you, girl!!! And just thank you for being so lovely.

You’re definitely on my list of inspiring women: you give helpful advice on your blog and in your vlogs, you have recieved so much in your life that I want to achieve too (writing a succesful book is one of them) and you show how you should treat people you care about. You are truly amazing and you should know that!

Hi Zoe I’ve just joined your blog,
I think it’s really important to acknowledge the people who have made a massive impact in your life and made you, you and you are one of those people in my life. (So cheesy, right?!) every time I read one of your many inspiring blog posts I instantly feel so much better and motivated. And also you forgot to mention yourself, you are a phenomenal women. I live way up in the highlands of Scotland but when I watch your videos or read your blog I feel so close to you I can almost touch you. I think that celebrating international women’s day is incredibly important and you have done it is such a way that every girl from 5 to 105 will feel lit up with the sparks that fly from your encouragement and incitement that comes from your writing. You really have mounded and shaped millions of people’s lives and you should feel proud that, in many of your viewers/readers hearts you are a huge part of international women’s day for all that you have achieved from anxiety to zoella beauty. We love you Zoe ~Sophie xxx

Zoe, you are so positive and even though your life isn’t perfect you are so strong. You are a life saver for me especially because I also suffer from anxiety and have rough times at home. Reading you blog or watching your videos takes just maybe half an hour out of my day but I always feel positive and strong after. You are inspirational to girls and other women. I really hope you read this. Thank you so so so so much x ❤️

Zoe you inspire me to follow my dreams of becoming a film editor. I love watching your vlogs, and It makes me able to start the morning or I watch your blogs before bed and drink tea. I am American, and I am planning to attend university in London, England in September through my college’s abroad program. It just so happens that the program also has a trip to Brighton planned. I will have to check out that cafe you ate at in one of your vlogs from 2 years ago. I connect with your blog post because I am very close to my mom, and I have 3 friends that I can count on. My celebrity inspiration, well I have two, one is you, and the second is Emma Stone. I am a huge fan of Adele too! I actually only discovered your youtube channel in 2015. I binge watched your Vlogmas from 2014 and I was hooked. I get some of my outfit inspirations from you as well, and you taught me how to do my makeup. I am now a more mature young woman because of you and your incredible vlogs! Thank you, and I hope you respond to this!

    Cheers,

Shame I only just saw this! I love it so much! It has made me realise that even if there is someone you absolutely hate, they still have a good side and have good qualities about them. I admit, there are a number of girls who I don’t like as much as others, but I just haven’t discovered their good side. Thank you Zoe for helping me realise this! You are such an inspiration to me, and some day I hope to be like you!

Zoe Sugg – the inspiration to so many girls and women across the world. A woman who despite her own struggles has achieved huge and incredible success from doing what she loves and in turn has inspired others to do the same. A woman who has empowered other women to dream big, work hard, and live life the way they want to. A woman who has encouraged others to speak about mental illness and break the stigma in order to help each other through the tough times. A woman who has encouraged incredible positivity on and offline. A woman who has produced three amazing thought provoking books and encouraged young people to read through a well put together book club. A woman we can all look towards. A woman we all love to bits. xxx

    Hi Zoe,
My name is Holly and I’ve been following you/watching you across social media from some time now and I just wanted to take some time to thank you for the positive impact you have had on my life. In this post you encourage us to tell the women who have an impact on our lives how much we appreciate them and to let them know – so I felt like I should tell you in the comments section here as many others have. It’s clear to me that you are such a kind hearted person and despite struggling with your own demons, you always manage to uplift others even when it may not be easy. Watching you on Youtube, your vlogs in particular, I feel as though I know you and that you are a friend to me, which can be a strange concept for most people to understand but is also a godsend in times of loneliness. When I’m having a down day as we all sometimes do, or even if I just feel a bit anxious or like the world is too much, I will go back and watch your vlogs as your happiness and heart of gold resonates to me, not only allowing me to feel better but also making you one of the biggest inspirations in my life. You deal with so many things on a daily basis that most of the world doesn’t understand, such as hate, people sticking their noses in your private business, the media etc. but you handle all of these issues with grace and are never malicious or rude. You’re not stuck up or obnoxious nor do you give off a showing off kind of attitude towards the money you earn (well-deservedly I must add!) or your many successes – you are humble. One day I aspire to be like you in many aspects, specifically with your attitude towards people and your nature, as well as your grace and how you carry yourself as a successful woman but also a down to earth Zoe, that is a friend to us viewers of yours. I feel as though I’m more than just a fan of yours, I am a friend and one day I hope I have the privilege of meeting you as I’m sure we would get on and you would be even more inspirational in person. Thank you for this post, it enabled me to feel uplifted and empowered. If you read this, I hope you have a lovely day.
    From a viewer, a supporter, a friend –
    Holly xx

    Hi Zoe,
I would just like to say i know that everyone are writing how you are there inspiration and i find that truly amazing but i would also like to say that you are an inspiration to not just me and not just all your viewers/readers but to lots of people even if they aren’t having a bad time.
You have also made me and lots of others realize what life is actually about and that its not about winning the race but crossing the finish line. I would like to say i don’t mind if you don’t see this but i would love it if everyone else would take the time to read this and make someones day by doing a little random act of kindness as those small little things can make someones day. Another thing i would like to say is that you are someone that just makes me instantly feel happy inside especially when you upload a vlog or a main channel. I just started secondary school which is really stressful but everyday when i get home i watch a video of yours like when you are laughing your head off with mark or a cute little vlog with Alfie and it just makes me relax so much more and sometime I literally have tears of laughter streaming down my face when you are having your little joke time with Mark. I made lots of friend some starting off as having a similarity of being obsessed with YouTube, you and Alfie and other amazing people.

  • gotbluewolf 2000

Zoe, you are absolutely the most inspirational person on the face of the Earth. Ever since I started reading your blogs and Youtube videos, my life has been so much easier. I’m doing things I wouldn’t dare to do last year. About a year and a half ago, I was very shy, I had only one friend who I sticked to like glue. She literally ALWAYS had her head in books so when we sat down at lunch, I would be so bored, I would be on my phone the whole time. Since I heard about you, my life has been turned around completely. I’ve made so many new friends, I’m so much more open to people and I’ve discovered a side of me I never knew existed. I love the good vibes, watching your blogs and any video with you in it. I love the fact that I can go to school, be myself around people I know well and love and not be judged. I was so self conscious before and now, I can go crazy and not care what people think of me, and it’s all thanks to you. You are so inspirational to me and it’s unreal how one person can change your life like you did with mine. I love you so, so, so, so, so much and I can’t wait to hear more about you in the future.
    Lots of love, Amy.

Zoe, you are an amazing person, and you have taught me so much. I have been watching your videos for over one year now, and I know a lot of people have been watching for a lot longer, but I have learnt a lot about you, and about how to take things and how to enjoy things. Your videos make me laugh, smile or sad, depending on the video. You are also a strong person, even if you aren’t reading this, whoever does, is also a strong person for getting this far in life, because every life is hard. Zoe, you also make others strong and great people as well. From your videos, and blog posts, I have been inspired to do things like you, or be as strong as you. I know that I don’t know you personally, but it feels like you’re one of my best friends. Thank you for everything Zoe, you give such a huge impact on so many people’s lives. I hope you do read this, and if you do, thankyou.

  • Eliana Adlhoch

    Hi Zoe.
Love your attempt at an inspirational IWD post, but I think you’ve really missed the point with this one. Although it’s great to highlight these women, there is one key component of feminism that is missing from this post, and that is diversity. For the most part, all of these women are white, middle to upper class, heterosexual, and overall fairly privileged women. It’s great that those are the women who have inspired you, as you have grown up in a similar position of privilege, however these are not the voices that the world needs to be hearing right now. I want you to honour the trans women who are constantly told that their femininity and womanhood is not real. I want you to honour the women of colour who face a disproportionate and greater rate of violence in their daily lives. I want you to honour disabled girls who are denied jobs and accessibility. I want you to honour queer women, Muslim women, elderly women, poor women, Indigenous women, refugee women, deported women and all women who are DIFFERENT FROM YOU. You need to understand the privilege you carry in your life, and use your platform to enhance the voices of those who are marginalized. You may think this post is solving problems, but it is only perpetuating it further.

    • Robbie

Completely agree. This is so important.

Hi I look up to you and am inspired by you when people ask who I look up to I say mum because I’m to embaresed (I do look up to mum though) but I realise it doesn’t matter because it’s what I believe and I have realised that because you have gone through so much and you said the people you look up to and it seems like your not worried about what people will say which is how I want to feel. I look up to you because you take all these opatunites while having anxiety. Everyday I come home and watch your videos (some times I really watch them). Hi Zoe.
I don’t usually comment on your blogposts, not because I don’t enjoy them but because I simply don’t think I have anything to add to them since they are often just exactly what I would say. But on this post I really felt like I needed to say ‘Thank you’. I have been watching your videos for about 5 years now and considering I am only 17 I can definitely say you and your videos have been a large part of my childhood. I’ve grown up watching you every sunday and your vlogs have been very helpful and sometimes the only source of happiness in a time when I was at a very bad place in life. It is hard to describe in words how much you have done for me without even noticing. but I can say you are probably the person that has influenced me most in life (apart from my parents). Even just small things like improving my English (my native language is German and literally nobody in my family speaks English) because of watching your videos is something I am extremly grateful for. You also tought me to be myself and to learn to accept who I really am. You inspire me each and every day to get up and live my life and on somedays to just chill andnot to worry about what others might think. One thing that breaks my heart is that I probably can’t ever personally thank you for everything but maybe you take some time to read this and just think about how special you are to so many people. Thank you again. I hope I am going to be watching your videos in many years time and remember how I typed up this comment at a time where I am truly happy because of you.
    Lots of love
    Anna xx

  • I love seeing girls supporting and lifting each other. It’s so inspiring to see in a world full of jealous and pettiness and catfights. Always remember that us girls are stronger than we look, and can accomplish anything as long as we believe in ourselves and each other!

    Dear Zoe,
I am a silent supporter, I don’t really bother commenting on your videos because I think that they will never get seen or end up at the bottom of the page but something is telling me to reach pout so here it goes.
You have inspired me for these past 4 years to be confident, different and stand out! I suffered from bulling towards the end of year 6 and it was a very hard time for me but it always would put a smile on my face to know that I would be going home to Zoe and I felt safe, I had found my own little nook, my sanctuary. This little corner of the internet had become my home, a place where I could disappear from life and just allow myself to almost go numb in the comfort of your kind words and your smile. I suffer from anxiety a lot too and your confidence and bravery to share your feelings with people and talk to someone about it really made me feel confident enough to talk to my form tutor about it and now I have it 99% under control !
I bet you get a lot of comments like this one, but in my heart you mean a lot. You are the reason I wake up at 5:30 am every morning to go to school and stay awake until 11:00 pm! You are what keeps me going. Keep doing what you are doing girl! I am so amazed by what you have achieved, you are obviously doing something right!
I would TOTALLY add you to my list of empowering and inspiring women, you are a real tribute to the internet x
    Your silent subscriber,
    Amelia xx
P.s – It would be really cool if you could reply or share this not begging but it would mean a lot to know you saw this !

This is such a lovely post. It’s so nice to actually talk about those who inspire you and make you happy in life so thats what I love this post for!! For me, YOU are someone who makes the most impact on me: you make me want to be a better person and just do what makes me happy, no matter what people think. I live in little old Cornwall so everyone knows each other and no one really does anything to adventerous else it would be the talk of the town! Seeing how happy you are made me want to set up a blog, so then hopefully one day I can have a future like yours. Thank you for being my inspiration !! xxx

i love you so much Zoe and i want you to know how much your videos help me xxx

  • Therese

I thank this people for inspiring you to be who you are right now, someone that inspires me in a major level. Zoe, you inspire me to always stay positive, happy and kind. In times when i am so overwhelmed I remember you and your endless and shameless laughs. I come to think how you, who prolly has greater hate and problems now that your name is big in the internet, have remained so kind and stayed true to who she is. You are the only one that proved to me that being weird is not really an awful thing and made me more versatile when it comes to personalities. I found my role model, if ever I decided to make my own little space in the internet too. I love you zoe.

  • This is such a great and inspiring post! Thank you for sharing this with us! xx

Taking the time to recognize those people important to us is something that should be done regularly not just once a day in a year. Very inspirational. It has made me stop and take a moment to recognize those people who have inspired me and helped me through the many years. Thanks for the reminder to do this!
Watching your videos and reading your blogs has helped me learn to be okay with who I am and do the things I love without worrying what others think. Thanks, Zoe! xx

This post is such a cute idea. I think sometimes we don’t tell people in our lives how much they really matter.
I’m so lucky to have so many inspiring women in my life and then so many women that I find online who inspire me to continue making content and being positive.

You are such an inspiration to a lot of people. Also to me. I’d love to meet you one day (although I live in Holland). You are amazing and it’s amazing how much you’ve stayed ‘normal’ even though you are so popular (you hate the word famous haha). Every single time I watch your videos or read your blog it makes me happy. A lot of the times I’m not happy so it means a lot to me that you can achieve that (although you you don’t know that). I’m still struggling and going through a really really hard time but you actually light up my world when I read/watch your blog/video. I know you’ve mentioned a lot of people in this blog. If i had written mine, you would definitely be in there. I can’t thank you enough. I hope to thank you one day in real life.

    Thank You Zoë!!

    xx Maaike

I am going to be honest: I’ve never actually read your blog before, Zoe… I love your YouTube channels but I have never actually taken the time to stop, sit, have a latte and read your blog posts. I have never actually read anyone’s blog.
I am so glad I took the time to read this post and I am probably going to stay on my couch and read more before going to bed.

The amount of work you and other Youtubers do to support the women of the world and gender equality is simply amazing. You really create a wave of strength and encouragement to everyone through your actions. I hope you guys continue the wonderful work and maybe one day we can have peace of mind that everyone will be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve in the work place and on the streets.

I don’t mean to trouble you, but if you ever have the chance I would greatly appreciate a little look at my blog https://thingamabobsandwhatchamicallits.wordpress.com/. You inspired me to start a blog of my own and to work hard to share my thoughts and experiences with the world. It just goes to show much of a positive influence you are.

Love how you are encouraging all of us to feel empowered and how we should strive to succeed. You have basically been a voice throughout my teenage years (I mean I was watching your videos on my Ipod touch and it didn’t even have a camera) I love how you have taken the time to write this, in order to make people feel good and I can tell you have had no gain, you just wanted girls to know there worth. Love it.
If you’re looking for something different to look at in the blog world I am trying something very very different, think of it as a Netflix series in words

I fully commend those women breaking the rules and not conforming to society, but it is worth noting that you can also be a strong, boss woman and choose to live a conventional life. Being a feminist, to me, is all about celebrating everyone and their own individual choices, whether that’s choosing to be a stay-at-home mum or being a builder or being a CEO of a global company or being a fairy princess who loves pink – and of course these things are not all exclusive of each other! I think sometimes it’s easy to celebrate the women who are out there being literal bosses and overlook those who live life slightly more conventionally, but are still bosses in their own way.

  • palashi sharma

Today in this world, women empowerment is one of the major issues specially in India where i am from..
Sometimes i feel angry that y i m girl , but when i see a lot of inspiring women’s fighting for the rights , helping each other, envying each other , i feel inspired, feel like y i cannot be the change , it’s a treasure of god to be a girl /women …
Feminism is a gift of god😘😘
Luv u Zoe , thanks for inspiring me..

  • Ece Sukas

Hello Zoe. Since I first started watching and reading. I really like you very much. I love you and I want to meet you, but I live in Turkey.

  • Hey Zoe!
It’s really nice to see a post like this from you. I totally agree that we should all support one another instead of being bitter or jealous. The world is a better place when we all continue to support each other. Even if we don’t like the content someone produces or necessarily agree with them, we should all be respectful of their beliefs. It’s better to stay silent than to tear each other down. We should all learn to spread positivity rather than negativity. Also, if we see someone who’s content we enjoy or someone who is making an impact in your life- we should let them know.
Zoe… you have impacted many individuals lives, some who you know of and many who you don’t. You are many people’s role model and you have definitely worked super hard to get where you are! You should be super proud of where you are and the success (and respect) you have gained. Most people are jealous of your lifestyle but they need to understand that you worked hard and you deserve it! I’m not sure if you will see this or not, but you’re an inspiration to many people. Thank you for being you and please never give in to the negative energy.
    Lots of love,
    Ramsha | Rose

Hi Zoella, I have been watching your channel for about three years now…I think. I just want to say that you are an inspiration to me and you just seem to have life together. I want to be like many people as an adult, I’m 14 at the moment, and you would be someone i want to be like.

  • Jessica

Really feel this helps towards us girls and women with the pressure we feel to always be perfect, petite and humble (which in our society and age should not be a worry) but this gives a real sense of girl power! and builds my confidence which I’m sure builds others too. This really helps me believe to “say yes” to more things and get out there and enjoy life to its fullest! thankyou so much zoe, I rate your blogs and videos so much, for they have helped me really step out of my comfort zone, thanks a million! Carry on inspiring! love you lots! xoxo

Post great! We bought our dress on http://www.millybridal.org. “I ordered 2 prom dresses because I could not choose, so I kept them both, great website and service, would use again !!
Only moan was the packing, sadly they were a bit creased on arrival, perhaps a box would be better.”

I really love this post. It´s one of the most inspire blogs I have ever read. Fulls my heart with lots of conscious decisions, joy and love. Makes me really realize that all women (no matter the color of our skin, or our religions, or our political practices, or the way that we growth, etc…) have to support other women. Because the girl who is next to me/you, or in front of me/you, or behind me/you is NOT each other´s competition.

  • Mae :)

There is one person missing from on this list. You. I have been subscribed to you for EVER, and I am not allowed any social so thankfully came across your blog! I’ve never missed a video, and on my YouTube app, all your videos are under ‘Watch it again!’ I just find myself subconsciously watching your old vlogmas.. Even in July.. Zoe, you are such an inspiration to me, even though my parents disapprove of YouTube. I have gotten in trouble a lot for watching you, but every time is worth it. I will never stop watching you. Girl, you rule the world! Hugs xx
