I rarely go out without my trusty camera in tow- this one may have originally been my boyfriends which I’ve accidentally-on-purpose-adopted. My bag almost always has it in, as well as some noise-cancelling headphones that in normal circumstances I wear to the gym, for walks and when travelling.
I didn’t realise how useful having an Amazon Echo would be until I moved into my current flat and started using my flatmates, and I have to say it’s v handy for setting a little cooking timer handsfree! Finally, an external hard drive. I have more photos and videos on here than any one person needs but I always keep them backed up!
So I’m yet to invest but I’m currently in need of a massive hair haul! I can’t wait to have my hair done when we’re allowed and know I need the right tools to keep it looking great. I’ve heard so much AMAZING feedback from the GHD platinum+ straighteners and the technology sounds so much better than what I’m currently using. I’m also interested in their hot glide brush for and the soft curl tong. Even though I’m not about to drop this much money on hair tools I probably will over time as they last SO long. I’ve had my current lot for 10 years so if I’m thinking about cost per use they’re absolutely worth it.
I’m super excited for the new Sony ZV-1 compact camera. As a loyal Canon g7x fan for years, I’m super intrigued by this as it has been designed with “vlogging” in mind and has new specific features to enhance the “vlogger” user experience.
The furbo is something we have owned for years now and we love it! Ever wondered what your pet gets up to when you leave the house? It’s essentially a security camera for your dog, but with the built-in ability to fire treats wherever you are in the world. I love it because you can open the app at any time to check up on them, and can even speak to them if you need to. We’ve bought this for so many family and friends and they all end up loving it as much as we do!
Ever since we’ve been working from home, I’ve been looking at getting myself a pair of the wireless AirPods to make team calls a bit easier. They might be a bit spenny but they’re so lightweight and easy to charge that I feel like it’s a worthwhile investment. Now we’re utilising our homes as photography studios, I think a remote control for my camera will come in very handy when shooting self-portraits. It’s such a great gadget to have in your kit.
I have been a long time user of the Google Pixel phone and still can’t fault it. The Pixel 4 is the newest addition to the family and it’s easily the best phone I’ve ever had, the camera quality is so good you can even take pictures of stars at night. My newest tech must-have was actually a birthday present which is the Dyson cool tower fan. It’s completely blade-free, has 10 different speed settings and you can set it to a timer to turn off when you want it to. I don’t know how I survived without it now.
I think everyone needs a portable charger, this one from Elefull is great for day-to-day. It normally does around two full charges, so good if you are going to the beach or park all day! When it comes to headphones, these Bang and Olufsen ones are amazing, best sound by far out of all the headphones I’ve tried. Last is the Echo Dot I always bang on about, but it really is so handy to have. Tells you the weather in the mornings, plays any music you want, knows EVERYTHING. Maybe I’m just lazy but I love it being told to me haha!
