Chin chin friends, it's finally time to hit up the local boozer and you best believe we'll be doing so at every given opportunity for the foreseeable future- our outgoing "pub?" texts just skyrocketed and we ain't sorry about it.
Chin chin friends, it’s finally time to hit up the local boozer and you best believe we’ll be doing so at every given opportunity for the foreseeable future- our outgoing “pub?” texts just skyrocketed and we ain’t sorry about it. The only thing that could make this momentous occasion even more tantalising would be the presence of some sunshine ( camera pans to us in our puffer coats and gloves ), but we can’t have it all, can we!
Despite the not so promising weather forecast, pub gardens evoke the height of summer, bare leg realness and so the gingham, sandals and sunnies will be out regardless- if there was ever a time to dress inappropriately then it’s now! Whether you’re a wine, gin, cocktail or mocktail kinda gal, ‘beer gardens outfits’ are about to become the topic of your drifting off to sleep thoughts, and this week’s team picks offer the perfect inspiration starting point.
Charlotte
Pink Gin Spritz I’m coming for youuuuu. I’ve gone for a pretty lowkey look this week (first time for everything) and I’m allllll over this gingham top from Warehouse- they have some gorgeous bits rn! Pastels for Spring might not be groundbreaking but they are certainly a bit of what I fancy right now and if I’m looking a bit predictable and like the embodiment of a bag of Mini Eggs then I am quite frankly embracing it. Mini bags still have my heart, despite the impracticality, and this cute mint one from Monki adds an injection of fun to any look.
I need these Alohas sandals in my life and can’t stop thinking about them! They’re a sustainable brand that makes to order which means you won’t get your order in a super speedy next day delivery fashion but think of all the waste they’re saving! Pairing it with a super simple shirt dress I can also wear to the office AND the beach with a swimsuit underneath. Love this beach bag from Mango that brings in some black and I’ll be donning the lot with this Missoma ring my best friend got me for my birthday that I’m fully obsessed with, it’s such great quality.
Is it sandal weather yet? Not sure. Can you stop me? Nope, I’m like a whippet. Rain or shine, I’ll be in the pub gardens next week and I am so excited! I’ve gone very casual (as per) with some mom jeans, a white tank top and an oversized shirt. Of course, it wouldn’t be me without a 90s style shoulder bag and I am so happy that sandals are back babyyyy!
It’s Sambuca on me bitches! It’s going to be so good to be back in a beer garden, getting drunk on freedom innit? Gingham is always garden appropriate in my book, so I’m adding this golden boy to my basket straight away. Footwear’s tricky because slippers are all I know but I’m ready to regret sandals. Might be wishful thinking but I take heatwave rumours v seriously. Sunglasses are also a must to hide how much of a lightweight I am these days! Bring it on.
Beer Garden is the best 2 words I’ve ever heard at this point. Only a matter of days till I’m sipping a cold cider in the sun, or rain, I’ll be there whatever the weather. That being said, I will need to be prepared. I’ll be wearing a maxi dress with boot heels and a denim jacket (of course, love a denim number) and bringing tights and a white long sleeve in my bag in case of rain. I’m also going to buy loads of those shitty festival poncho’s to chuck on if it does start raining.
